My name is Miles Lindholtz. I was diagnosed with diabetes on November 24, 1998. I was 2 years old. This is my family's tenth year of living with diabetes, and our tenth year walking with JDRF to raise money for a cure. We plan to raise $10,000. Our online, in-hand donations and pledges exceeded $8500 after SMILES FOR MILES, our big event on October 3rd. We are within striking distance of our goal. Will you help us?

Mark Snodgrass 10/02/2008 Hi Miles! I wanted to show up at your party and surprise you and your dad. Too bad Oregon is so darned far from Texas. Shows awfully poor planning if you ask me. I can't be there in person to add to the festivities, but I really hope "Smiles for Miles" is a rollicking success and you have yourself a great time. Very best wishes to you and your family, Mark PS: Smiles are your passport into other peoples' hearts. Keep one handy, and make it your business to spread 'em all around.
Marlene Soderstrom 09/23/2008 I wish I could join you for the walk. Maybe someday. I will be thinking about all of you. My prayers are that a cure will be found soon. Love, Marlene
Linda Thurman 09/25/2008 Miles, I met your mom recently at the JDRF Mom's Night at your home. Reading about you & your family on your website was very moving. My grown daughter and I have diabetes, too. We also are praying for a cure soon! See you Oct. 3. Linda Thurman
