Robert Welter is walking with Bobby's Brigade on November 8, 2009 in Los Angeles, CA.
Hello! This year, our Family Team "Bobby's Brigade" will be be taking part in Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes at Dodger Stadium on November 8th. Along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our goal of raising $105 million. Since Bobby's Brigade began walking in 1999 we have raised over $120,000.......thanks to all of you!
Type 1, or Juvenile Diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people a large and growing percentage of them children.
There is some good news, though. For the first time, scientists are predicting that we CAN expect to see a cure well within our lifetime!
Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please make your tax deductible donation today. No amount is too small.......it all adds up to lots of hope for children like Bobby. We can make the cure a reality!
Also if you would like to walk with us just register and Join Bobby's Brigade and start your own funding raising campaign. Even if you don't live close enough to be here with us at the walk, you can join our team and raise donations and be a "Virtual Walker." I can help you do this...just ask.
Peace and Blessings,
Rob Welter
