Howdy!
My name is George Simmons and I am a type 1 diabetic. I have spent more than half of my life living with a disease that does not sleep, does not give me a break, and continues to try and destroy me.
In the past I have done fundraising walks but this year is extra special. This walk is being held on October 2nd which will be my 20 year anniversary of being diagnosed. It is not easy to want to celebrate 20 years of having a disease but with your help, it will be a celebration of fighting for my life and the life of others.
My goal is to raise $100 for each year I have had this disease, for a total of $2000. I know with your help I can do it.
