It's that time once again! Time to start raising funds for a very important walk. This is our 3rd year in a row and we will continue to do this until a cure is found!

We had a big change this year. Hayleigh was started on the insulin pump in January which was great in more ways than one. Not only has it helped with less injections, it also made it easier to control her changing blood sugars while we were getting used to her new diet change. Why a new diet change? Because in January, shortly after receiving her pump, Hayleigh was diagnosed with a new autoimmune disease. Celiac Disease. So going through the big change of her new diet really threw her blood sugars out of whack. But having the insulin pump made it much easier on her and on us.

As wonderful as the insulin pump is, she, of course, would rather not have to have it. The finger pokes, the site changes, wearing something on her side 24/7. It gets quite old. So, once again here we are trying to raise money for JDRF in hopes that a cure can be found. We can't do that without your help! Anything, any amount of money will be more help than you know. $1, $5, $10 or more. No amount is too small! Once you donate, please email your friends and family and let them know how important this cause is. We need your help to get one step closer to a cure.

If you would like to join our team, please feel free to email me! You don't have to live close by to join. You can help just by signing up and asking for donations. Your help is much appreciated!

Thank you and God Bless.
