Hello! This year, I'll be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our goal of raising $100 million.
Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of peoplea large and growing percentage of them children.
There is some good news, though. For the first time, scientists are predicting that we CAN expect to see a cure well within our lifetime!
Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible? Together, we can make the cure a reality!
Hailey DESERVES a cure, she did nothing to bring this on herself. Everyone living with Type 1 diabetes DESERVE a cure. Let's help them get it!

We would also like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Andrea Wilroth Ashley Sitzman! For their 13th birthday bash they collected donations to JDRF in lieu of gifts from the 7th grade class and were able to raise a whopping $310.00!!!!!!!! Way to go girls. We will get the donation to JDRF in your names asap so that it will be reflected on this site :-D Our family cannot express how much this has touched our family.
