Hello, my name is Emily DelVecchio and I will be walking in the 2009 Walk to Cure Diabetes. I am four years old and on June 25th I will have had Diabetes for 1 year.

However, diabetes has always been a part of my life. My eight year old brother, Christopher was diagnosed right before I was born.

We need you to help us find a cure for this disease. Researchers have made huge advancements in overall care and are so close to finally finding a cure. This would be a huge relief for myself, Christopher and the 3 million other children and adults who live with this disease everyday for the rest of their lives.

Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. Won't you please give to JDRF as generously as possible? Together, we can make the cure a reality!
