Hey, everybody!

I, Ken Johnson, fat man and onset diabetic will be taking part in JDRF's Walk to Cure Diabetes, along with one-half million other walkers across the country, as we try to reach our goal of raising $100 million.

Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes is just like type 2, except that it affects kids who didn't eat and drink their way into health trouble. It's a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children who just want to lead as normal a life as you and me.

There is some good news, though. For the first time, scientists are predicting that we CAN expect to see a cure well within our lifetime!

Now, more than ever, you can make a crucial difference. I'm getting my ass off the couch... how about a small donation in exchange for THAT minor miracle? ; ) I don't care if it's 2 bucks, whatever you can do makes you a hero in my book. Together, we can make the cure a reality, which would be pretty damn sweet. THANK YOU for even reading this... and if you donate, I'll put your name on the air and the web, because you shall surely rock enough to mention. (If you'd like to remain anonymous, that's cool too.)
