For a mere $10 you can provide
a newly diagnosed child
with a cuddly friend to keep
them company in the hospital.
Hospitals are a scary place, especially for children
who were unexpectedly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Every childs reaction to this situation is different;
however a common emotion is fear and uncertainty.
Over the past years, JDRF of Georgia has been there for
these children, giving a cuddly bear of hope and letting
them know they are not alone. These small bears have
brought comfort and smiles to hundreds of childrens faces.
Unfortunately, we recently ran out of bears.

With the upcoming holiday season we ask that you give a gift of $10 to keep this meaningful
tradition alive. To further brighten a childs day you can include a personal note of hope that
will be delivered along with the bear.
Give a Bear!
